Mr. Cruz M Andros of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Sunday June 18, 2017 at the age of 86.  Cruz was born to Thomas Andros and Isabel Moran on May 3rd, 1931.  He was a carpenter all his life.  He worked with the HUD program as a Master Carpenter for 25 years before retiring.  Cruz married Josephine Salamae’ Escoto and together they raised 2 children and three grandchildren.  Cruz is survived by Mark Valadez, Michael Valadez and Yvonne Peterson; his brothers, Tony (Lily) Andros, Noe (Yvette) Cortez, Manual (Debbie) Cortez Jr.; his sister, Josie Reel; two very special nieces, Glendora (Leon) Cortez and Gina (Tony G.) Andros; a very special nephew, Tommy (Rosemary) Andros, A special thank you for those three for taking care of their uncle during these past few months; Nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Josie; His parents; two sisters, Rafaela Bae Velez and Carolyn Cora Yaws; Elva and Richard Valadez; Eddie Escoto.  There will be visitation with the Family beginning at 6pm on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at Gutierrez Funeral Home North.  A Memorial Service will follow at 7pm at the Funeral Home.  The family is grateful to everyone for condolences, to Community Hospital ICU staff for their extraordinary care and to Hospice for their help and care.
