Dolores Faye McCleery, beloved daughter, sister and aunt, met the open arms of the Lord and the smiling faces in heaven Thursday, November 30, 2006.

Dolores was born October 20, 1946 to Bert and Norma Alberts McCleery. Dolores was the oldest of three children and was their "Precious Angel". She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, David McCleery and wife Jolawn. Sister Beverly Trupp and husband Jason. Nephews, Kel McCleery and Kaden McCleery; nieces Mandy Wright and husband Kenneth and Jennifer Brewer and husband Brian; great niece Hannah Hester and great nephews Logan and Corbin Brewer. Dolores also had a wonderful extended family and a host of loving caregivers at the San Angelo State School.

Dolores brought love, joy and infinite laughter to all of those around her. All of Dolores' family and friends have a special place in their heart for her and are fortunate for having been touched by such a wonderful creation of God.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. These services have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the San Angelo State School at 1:30 p.m.

The family would like to thank the staff at the San Angelo State School and Vista Care Hospice for the wonderful care given to Dolores. Donations may be made to Vista Care Hospice.
