Dolores Rangel Jr

Dolores Rangel Jr, 45, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 30, 2019 in San Angelo. Jr was born October 2, 1973 in Taylor, Texas to the late Dora B. Rangel and Dolores Rangel Sr. Despite enduring many tragedies in his life, he made the life-changing decision to commit his life to the Lord on January 6th 2019. Even after losing an arm, he still enjoyed doing many tasks. For most of his life he worked as head Ginner in several gins state wide. In addition, he received his GED diploma and certificate for HVAC. Jr was very gifted with many talents and loved to engage in mechanics, construction, electrical work, and much more. He would always stay busy as a jack-of-all-trades. He loved spending time with his family, barbequing, camping, and fishing. Jr was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rosalio and Rafaela Rangel. And maternal grandparents Rogelio Botello, Israel and Agustina Garcia. And by his beloved mother Dora B. Rangel. Jr is survived by son, Michael Rangel, daughter Janell Rodriguez and husband Johnathan, son Isaac Rangel, son Jacob Rangel, daughter Macaela Rangel, and daughter Martha Rivera, brother Andrew Morin, sister Lupe Gomez and husband Sam, sister Linda Orta and husband Marco, sister Sandra Rangel and husband Bernabe, sister Rachel Rangel, grandchildren Layla and Jaxen Rodriguez, Rylee Rangel, Maverick and Messiah Rangel, Rylan Flores. 13 nephews and nieces: Sammy, Lance Zachery and Valerie Gomez, Vanessa and Marc Orta, Robert Mendoza Jr (Bogey) Stephen Ybarra, Amanda Flores, Jeremiah Correa, Jonathan and Doraelisa Rangel. greatnieces and greatnephews, Nevaeh Mendoza, Jacob Flores, Gabriel and Zane Ybarra, Scotty, Izabella and Noah Flores. JR's loving and selfless heart made a long-lasting impact on the lives of people around him. He was considered a big brother to Bogey and Stephen. He will be missed and never forgotten. Visitation will be 3pm to 9pm Friday February 1, 2019 at Gutierrez Funeral Home Knickerbocker and from 3pm to 9pm Saturday February 2, 2019 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North, 1002 N Oakes St. Christian service will be held at 7pm Saturday February 2, 2019 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North. Graveside service will be held Sunday at 1:30 pm on February 3, 2019 in Elgin Texas
