Jose M Gonzales

Mr. Jose M Gonzales, 84, of San Angelo, passed away on November 2, 2019.  A Rosary will be read on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North, 1002 N Oakes St, San Angelo, TX.  Funeral Mass will be on Friday at 10:00 am at St Joseph's Catholic Church with interment following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Services have been entrusted to the Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandson Steven Michael DeHoyos, his two brothers and two sisters.

Jose M Gonzales resided in San Angelo for the last 50 years.  He worked for Strain Bros. Construction for many years before retiring.  He and his wife Angelita were married for over 60 years

Survivors include his wife, Angelita Garcia Gonzales, one daughter, Marie Jane Jordan of Ft. Worth, TX and his grandson Samuel (Sammy) De Hoyos of Ft. Worth, TX, his granddaughters Jennifer Torres of Mt Vernon, Washington and Ericka Castillo of Cleburne, TX; his great grandchildren, Kaleigh Trevino, Dakota Castillo, Sypney DeHoyos and Caden DeHoyos.  Other survivors include his lifetime friends Frank and Tomasa Sanchez of San Angelo.  Pallbearers will be Adrian Reyes, Eddie Zamarron, Raul Ledezma, Martin Ledezma, Adrian Rocha and Carlos Galvan.
