Micaela Villarreal Moreno

Micaela (Mikkie) Villarreal-Moreno was greeted by her father Jose Villarreal Sr. and her brother Joe  Villarreal Jr. at the gates of heaven on October 30, 2019. She was born on December 23, 1967 to the late Jose Villarreal Sr and Romanita Rodriguez Hernandez.  She is survived by her children Robert Schmidt Jr, Shelbylynne Schmidt, and Sarah Joe Cardenas; her grandchildren Joe Nava, Noah Cox, and Marilillyanna Saldovar; her mother Romanita Hernandez and husband Phillip; sisters Connie Villarreal, Sophie Villarreal, Mary Helen Fernandez and her husband Ernest, Romy Villarreal-Macias and her husband Greg and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, and cousins.

Attending pallbearers: AJ Zuniga, Samantha Acevedo, Conrad Duran, Joe Luis Fernandez, Jeremy McGuire, Tony Villarreal, Ernest Fernandez Sr, and Greg Macias Jr. The Villarreal, Fernandez, Macias family would like to acknowledge the physicians and nursing staff on the 3rd floor Telemetry Unit at Community Hospital for their generous hospitality by welcoming us with open arms and treating our daughter, mother, sister, niece, cousin as if she was a part of their family. They have gone above and beyond anything our family could imagine, and we are grateful and humbled, we thank you. A special thank you to Tia Mary Moore and Tia Jessica Diaz for being by our sides and never leaving us. The Rosary will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Gutierrez Funeral Home on Oakes Street at 7:00 p.m. and the Funeral will be held on November 1, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Ozona, Texas.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
