Roberto (Rob) Arturo Gallegos, 64, went on to be with his Lord and Savior on June 26, 2017, with family by his side.

Rob was born December 01, 1952, to Roberto O. Gallegos and Carolina G. Gallegos in San Angelo, Texas.

Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 30, 2017 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapel North, 1002 N. Oakes, San Angelo, Texas.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 9 P.M.; a Rosary will be said for Rob at 7:00 pm Thursday June 29, at the Gutierrez Funeral Chapel North, 1002 N. Oakes, San Angelo, Texas.

The Burial will be held at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, Texas, following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapel.

Rob is survived by his mother Carolina Gallegos, of San Angelo, TX; by his children, Marci Gallegos, of Las Vegas NV, Josh Gallegos and Kimberlee Harwood of Sacramento, CA;

by special grandchildren: Ashley, Adrian, Aliha, and Amiya. And Great-Great-Grandchildren: Isaiah, Gianna-Sophia, Adrian Jr., and Mckyla;

and by brothers and sisters: Grace Settell(Nick) and Ruben Gallegos, of San Angelo, Jose Varela and Jamie Gallegos(Pam), of Sacramento, CA, Danny Gallegos(David) of Phoenix, AZ, and Vivian Bailey(John), of Laguna Vista, TX;

beloved Aunt Margaret Lankford and beloved niece Mary Gonzales, of San Angelo, TX.

He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Rob graduated from C.K. McClatchy High School in Sacramento, CA. He went on to work as an Aerial Photographic Technician for the State of California, Department of Water Resources, for many years. Rob was a lifetime NFL Dallas Cowboy fan.

The family wishes to gratefully acknowledge the many Doctors of Shannon Clinic, that provided Rob with excellent care.

The family would also like to thank the Staff at the Adult Enrichment Center, of San Angelo, where Rob attended for many, many years.

The Family would also like to thank the Staff of Senior Care of San Angelo Nursing Home, where Robert lived this last Year.

The family is thankful for all gestures of kindness, calls, and extended friendships.

His pallbearers are his brothers, Ruben Gallegos, and Daniel Gallegos, his Brother-in-law Nick Settell, and nephew Mario Mendoza.
