Adolph G. Sanchez, 97, passed away on July 4th, 2024 at his home peacefully in his sleep. We celebrate Adolph as we are confident that he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
He was born on October 3, 1926 in Poteet, TX to Ennis and Pilar Sanchez. In his early years he farmed in Greeley, Colorado. He later worked at Jennings for 35+ years as a mechanic as well as a Tire Shop business owner. He was known to many in the community for his entrepreneurship specifically for selling watermelons/cantaloupes and Mexican candy.
He is preceded in death by both parents, two sisters, five brothers and sons, Kenny Sanchez and Adolph Sanchez, Jr.
He survived by 6 children, Dolores Sanchez, Esmeralda Carrasco, Sammy Sanchez (wife Elena), Tommy Sanchez (wife Dale), Sarah Chavez, Jerry Sanchez, 24 grandchildren, 69 great grand children and 24 great-great grandchildren children, 3 brothers, Robert, Gilbert and Alfred Sanchez of Odessa, TX.
Adolph will be remembered for his work ethic, ingenuity and self sufficiency. He enjoyed fishing, Western movies and working outside. The family wishes to express their heart-felt thanks to Angels Care Hospice and caregiver, Susie Trujillo,
