Alberto Hernandez, Jr

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts, Alberto Hernandez Jr., 48, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2025. Alberto was born on July 3, 1977, to Irma Huerta and Alberto Hernandez, Sr., in San Antonio, Texas.  He was a beloved son, father, brother and friend to those who knew him.  Alberto is preceded in death by his mother, Irma Huerta Guzman and his stepfather, Victor Guzman.  

Alberto will be forever remembered by his daughter, Roxanna Hernandez and his brothers, Carlos and Enrique Hernandez.  He will be remembered fondly by his uncle, Angel Huerta, sister-in-law, Yolanda Hernandez, nephews Henry and Zack Hernandez, Jacob Flores and special friends, Ramon and Santa Madrid.

For the past ten (10) years, Alberto made San Angelo his home residing with family and employed by Lighthouse for the Blind.  He was known for his friendliness, unwavering kindness and dedication to his job.  Alberto possessed a vibrant personality and enjoyed being in the company of family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

The Celebration of Life service for Alberto will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas 76903 with visitation and viewing to commence at 8:00 a.m. 

Though you are gone, the love you gave us remains, a beautiful reminder of your presence in our lives.
