Alfredo Holguin Hinojosa

Alfredo Holguin Hinojosa, 78, was born to Life on January 11th, 1945 to Encarnacion “Chon” and Isabel “Chavela” Hinojosa, in Mertzon, TX and Born to Eternity on August 2nd, 2023 in San Angelo, TX.

Alfredo had a strong work ethic and enjoyed interacting and helping his clients. He was a loving father, son and brother. 

Alfredo was known to create laughter for those around him, many times through dance re-enactments of “Elvis Presley”. 

Alfredo graduated from Mertzon High School where he served as Captain of the Basketball and Football Team and qualified for State Track.  He later graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Art’s degree.  Alfredo was instrumental in establishing the Head Start program in Mertzon, TX.  His career, for the majority of his life, was dedicated to his business, “Hinojosa’s Tax Service”, where he was self-employed for over 40 years.

Alfredo was a father to 3 son’s, Mark David Hinojosa, Karlo Antonio Hinojosa and Alfred Delgado Hinojosa.

As the youngest member of his family, Alfredo came into this world with his twin brother, Reynaldo Hinojosa – whether side by side or miles apart, they remain connected by the heart. 

Alfredo was born into a very loving family and was preceded in death by his parents, Encarnacion & Isabel Hinojosa and his son, Mark David Hinojosa.

Alfredo is survived by his 5 siblings, Olga Munoz, Gus Hinojosa, Bertha Montez, Linda Valencia, Reynaldo Hinojosa, his children, Karlo Antonio Hinojosa and Alfred Delgado Hinojosa and his many beloved nieces and nephews.
