A mother’s love is the most precious treasure a child can carry through life. It shines in the warmth of her smile, the comfort of her embrace, and the quiet strength of her guidance.
Angelina Del Rio Alvarado, 62, of San Antonio, Texas time with us has now come to its close, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Though her time with us has come to a close, the memories shaped by her care, guidance, and presence will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was born on March 3, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas.
Angelina was preceded in death by her mother, Angelina Del Rio, and her son, Roy Rodriguez Jr.
She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory forever, including her three brothers and one sister; her two daughters, Joann Alvarado and Brandy Kraker; her son, Richard Alvarado; her son-in-law, Jon Kraker; her daughter-in-law, Alyssa Nava; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought great happiness to her life.
Known for her laughter, her beautiful sense of humor, her caring heart, and the incredible love she gave so freely, she will be deeply missed by her family and by all who were blessed to know her.
Friends and family will gather to pay their last respects on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels / North.
On Monday, March 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. a funeral service will be held at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels / North. Ms. Alvarado will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those who knew Angelina will carry forward the warmth, laughter, and kindness that were so naturally a part of her life.
