Anita Rivera

Anita Rivera, 84, passed away on January 13, 2021 in San Angelo,Tx. Anita was born on January 29, 1936 to Jose and Josephina Padilla Sr. in San Angelo,Tx. Anita married Blas Rivera Jr. on June 28, 1957 in Odessa, Tx.  She loved her church and family. Anita always greeted people with a smile and treated them as friends. She loved animals, especially her dogs and turtles. Anita will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her daughter Sylvia Siefring of San Angelo,Tx; son Ricky Rivera (Rosie) of Odessa,Tx; daughter Ginny Lambardia (Wally) of Odessa,Tx; daughter Diana Rubio (Jose) of Odessa,Tx; Ray Rivera (Eva) of San Angelo,Tx. She is survived by one remaining sibling Jose Padilla Jr. (Elodia) of Dallas,Tx; as well as 17 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.  Anita is preceded in death by her husband: Blas Rivera Jr.; parents: Jose and Josephine Padilla Sr.; sister: Tonia Moya.  Pallbearers will be: Chris Lambardia, Dylan Rodriguez, Brandon Rivera, Max Rodriguez, Victor Guillen and Sebastian Galindo.  Viewing will commence at 8:30 am on Friday with Funeral Service at 10:00 am with Deacon Jesse Martinez, officiating.  Graveside Services will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/Knickerbocker.
