Anna Maria Martinez

It is with a broken heart, shattered spirit and overwhelming sadness our family announces the passing of our beloved, Anna Maria Martinez, age 55, of San Angelo, Texas.   Anna was born on July 25, 1966, in Chihuahua City, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Antonio Morales and Elvira Valenzuela. 

Anna will be forever remembered by her husband, Johnny Martinez, her son, Johnny Martinez, Jr. and daughter, Julie Martinez.  Anna will be fondly remembered by her parents, Antonio and Elvira Morales and her in laws, Julian and Alice Martinez.  Anna's beloved grandchildren are Izayah Rice, Iyleenah Rice, Noah Padilla, Justine Garcia, Johnny Martinez, III, Destiny Martinez, Kiley Martinez, Veronica Martinez and Avalie Fernandez, and a great grandchild, Aria Gonzales. 

Anna's memories will be cherished by her brothers, Jesus Morales, Tony Morales, Beto Morales, Hector Morales and Juan Morales as well as her sisters, Carmen Morales, Lucy Morales, Elvira Morales, Berta Morales, Angie Morales, Yvonne Morales and Jessica Morales. 

Anna enjoyed going to classic car shows with her husband, Johnny, meeting friends and making lifelong friendships.  Anna was most certainly a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan, win or lose, she would cheer for her Cowboys, no matter the score.  Anna was a loving mother, aunt and grandmother, she loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all. 

Family and friends are invited to express their condolences on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas, 76903 and on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas, 76903 with a Prayer Service set for 1:30 p.m.
