Augustina Morales

Augustina G. Morales, age 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30th, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loving daughter and husband. Augustina was born March 10, 1949, in Seguin, Texas to Crescencio (father) and (mother) Rita Galvan.  She married Carlos Morales Jr. in 1976 in San Marcos, Texas. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her first son Carlos Morales, III, 6 brothers, 6 sisters and her dog Todo.

She is survived by and will be forever loved and forever remembered by her husband of 47 years, Carlos Morales Jr, she was the beloved mother to children, Rita Liscano and her husband Rudolph Liscano, her son Carlos Edgar Morales, and will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Alexandra Galindo and her husband Giovanni Galindo, Kristiana Salazar and her spouse Nathan Brawner, Nathaniel Sanchez, Draven and Damien Morales, great grandchildren, Serenity and Faith Galindo, and Evelyn Gail Brawner.

As you may already know she loved Jesus Christ, family and friends and attending her home church Joshua 1:2 Fellowship of San Angelo, Texas. She adored being a grandma and always taking care of her grandchildren whenever she was able, along with cooking all sorts of yummy homemade meals and rolling her famous tortillas. To everyone she met, she made a huge impact on and would having them laughing and would lift them up with encouraging words as well. She will be missed dearly here on earth while she awaits us in Heaven.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Augustina on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at her home church, Joshua 1:2 Fellowship, 2400 S Hill St., San Angelo, Texas 76903.

Services have been entrusted to the staff of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes Street, San Angelo, Texas 76903.
