Benjamin Antonio (Ramirez) Tijerina

Tony Tijerina, 45, of San Angelo, TX, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020.   Tony was born on February 6, 1975 in Big Lake, TX to Frances Ramirez and Jesus Tijerina.  He graduated from Central High School in 1994 where he played football for the Central Bobcats.  After graduation, he worked as a surveyor for the family business of JT Seismic Engineering.  He then went on to work for Suddeth Surveying for many years as well as Highmount.   In 1998, he met the love of his life, Reyna Ramirez-Tijerina.  They went on to have 1 daughter, Clarissa Maria Tijerina, on December 12, 2013.  Tony was not only a wonderful husband, but also a loving father, brother, uncle, son, cousin, and the best friend anyone could ask for.  Tony loved life, and filled every room with laughter and his contagious smile. Tony is survived by his wife Reyna Ramirez-Tijerina, daughter Clarissa Maria Tijerina, parents Frances and Albert Ramirez, father Jesse Tijerina and spouse Mary Tijerina, brother Jesus Jerry Tijerina, nephew Nickolas Jerry Tijerina and girlfriend Giselle Flores.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Anita and Francisco Gonzales as well as Faustina and Benito Tijerina. 

The family will receive family and friends at 3:00 on Monday, December 14, 2020 for the viewing, and the Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm at Gutierrez Funeral.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Gutierrez Funeral 1002 N Oakes St San Angelo, TX.  After the funeral services, Tony will be laid to rest in the Cedar Hill Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Ozona, TX.
