It is with heavy hearts that the Siller family announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Bertha Hernandez Siller, on Friday, April 1, 2022, in San Angelo, Texas. Bertha was born to Alberto Hernandez and Aurelia Silva Hernandez on January 2, 1945, in Ejido Cristales, Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico
Mrs. Siller was a dedicated mother and homemaker first and foremost; she treasured her children and embraced every moment with them.
Bertha will be sadly missed by her husband, Evelio Siller, Sr. Bertha was the loving and devoted mother of Griselda Faz (Oscar Faz), Evelio Siller, Jr., (Aurora Siller), Isauro Siller (Rosalinda Siller), Mrs. Siller will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Humberto Hernandez, Ester Cardona (Francisco Cardona), Juanita Rivas (Guillermo Rivas), and Delia Salas.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas, 76903, with the recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Bertha on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 301 West 17th Street, San Angelo, Texas 76903, with interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 1501 West Avenue "N", San Angelo, Texas 76901.
Although we will miss Bertha profoundly, and long for her with deepest grief, we are reminded that love is more powerful than death and this knowledge gives us comfort and peace.
