Beverly June Probst Truex of San Angelo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 3, 2022. June was born to Marvin & Myrtle Probst on August 20, 1932, in the Lakeview community. She was a petite and shy young woman who was an accomplished cowgirl. Starting at age 16 she competed in barrel racing and rode bareback broncs in all girl rodeos, placing at most. She loved competing in rodeos and taking care of the ranch, and later retired from Ethicon after many years.
June is survived by one sister, Shirley Ann Probst Waldrop, nephews Tuffy Waldrop (Sharon), Bub Waldrop (Mary Ann), and Jeff Waldrop (Monya), all of San Angelo and a niece Beverly Ann Waldrop, as well as several great nieces and nephews and special friends Roger and Patsy of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. June was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Myrtle Probst, two sons, Clayton Lee Williams and Robert Lynn Williams, and brothers-in-law, Lyndon Waldrop and Coke Barrett.
The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of Regency House for their loving care and support.
