In loving memory of Carlton “Dusty” Little, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 25, 1957. He moved from El Paso to San Angelo to be with his wife, Laura Garcia, who was serving in the Air Force at Goodfellow, AFB. They met as young adults and had been next door neighbors in El Paso, Texas.
They were soon blessed with a son, Ethan Little. Soon after that birth, his mother Frances Little, his sister Sandra Little and his grandmother Ora Banks also moved from El Paso, Texas to San Angelo to enjoy the new arrival. His father, George Little, predeceased him in South Carolina. His mother, Frances and grandmother, Ora, predeceased him in San Angelo, Texas.
After serving in the Army in Panama, Carlton made San Angelo, Texas his home and pursued a lengthy career at JB Automotive as a master auto mechanic. He enjoyed playing in several pool leagues in San Angelo and enjoyed playing his guitar. He was accomplished in many things and will be missed by his family and many friends across the country.
He is survived by his sister Sandra and brothers, David (Austin, Texas) and Bruce (El Paso, Texas), and his son, Ethan Little of San Angelo, Texas. Other survivors include his granddaughter Lilly (San Antonio, Texas) and nieces Deanna, Shyanne, nephews Richard and David; Great nieces and nephews, Madison and Dustin, great nephews, Mason, Zaiden, Corbin, Carson and Andrew.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes Street, San Angelo, Texas. The family will plan a Memorial Service at a later date. This will give friends and relatives an opportunity to get together and celebrate “Dusty’s” life.
