Delphino Rodriguez

Delphino Rodriguez Jr., 71, a lifelong resident of San Angelo, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was born on August 5, 1951, to Delphino & Rosa Rodriguez. 

In 1970, Delphino married Maria Valenzuela and shared their lives for almost 52 years. Delphino is survived by his devoted wife, Maria and their four children: Pedro (wife Juanita). Jorge, Liliana (husband Michael Lewis), and Alejandro (wife Teresa). Additionally, Delphino is survived by his siblings Margaret, Pete, and Richard Rodriguez, his grandchildren Crystal & Adriana Carrillo, Alysia Rodriguez, Athena Gaeta, Felisha Gonzalez, Chris Clawson, and great-grandchildren Lupe, Isaiah, Elijah, Josiah, Akaylah, Norberto, Noah, Jacob, Caleb, Zachary, and Mason, along with multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Delphino is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roy & Alejandro Rodriguez, and sister Angelita Mohler.  Delphino was a spiritual man who spent countless hours in prayer and supplication for the well-being of his family and friends.

An informal celebration of life is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas.
