Dora Elia Resendez

Beloved mother and grandmother, Dora Elia Moran Resendez passed away on March 23, 2021 in San Angelo, Texas. Mrs. Resendez was born on October 12, 1935  in Cd. Acuna, Coah. Mexico to Felipe Moran and Virginia Guajardo Moran.  Mrs. Resendez was married to Raul Resendez, Sr. who preceded her in death on April 28, 2018.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children, Raul Resendez, Jr.  (wife Lorena); Julio Antonio Resendez (wife Eloina); Dora Elia Rivas; Guillermo Resendez (wife Mary Ann); Norma Leticia Ibarra (husband, Juan); Irma Ramos (husband Jose); Oscar Resendez (wife Magda); Sonia Castillo; Veronica Resendez, Carlos Resendez (wife Amanda) ; Elva Fisher (husband Daniel). as well as her sisters-in-law, Maria Ledezma Moran and Maria Cisneros Moran, She will be missed by her "Reinas" Snooky and Bella. 

Dora Elia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raul Resendez, Sr. and daughter, Elizabeth Resendez. 

Dora Elia lived a full and warm life, filled with joy, happiness, and kindness.  She treasured her children and family and embraced every moment with them. She read the Bible fervently and then she responded to what she had read by speaking to the God of the Scriptures in prayer and song. She humbled herself before the God of all grace. 

The family extends their most heartfelt thanks to the Pastors who took part in Mrs. Resendez's services, the health care workers at Kindred Hospice, the Sterling City Nursing Home and especially to family and friends who have send and donated flowers and nourishment.  The family asks for your continued prayers as they mourn the loss of their dear Dora Elia.
