Elvis Clay Ramirez

Elvis Clay Ramirez, 28, of San Angelo, Texas went with our Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in New Mexico.  He was born May 15, 1995, in San Angelo to his mother, Nicole Elaine Lohse and his father Rudy Rojas Ramirez of San Angelo.

Elvis had a very unique style in helping anybody that needed help even if by taking his shirt off his back.  He loved music.  His dream was to open a clothing store in Odessa.  There was a very sweet child in his heart, whom he loved very much, Jewels was like a daughter to him and was very protective of her.  He was loved by many friends, and he will be truly missed by them. 

Elvis is preceded in death by his mother, Nicole Elaine Lohse, baby sister Jaclyn Nichole Ramirez, his grandmothers, Cuca Rojas Ramirez, Paula Lohse and uncle, Paul Ramirez.

He leaves behind to mourn him, his father Rudy Rojas Ramirez and Fiancée Jennifer Yanez, sisters, Shalyn Michelle and Matthew Maldonado, Shana and Jarryd Albers, Stephanie and Robert McLane, stepsisters Valarie and James Willingham, Mariah Yanez, stepbrother Romeo Yanez.  Other survivors include his brothers Ruben and Christina Ramirez, Andres Ramirez, Regino Ramirez, Rudy Ramirez III, Cody Lohse, and Rudy Lohse.   Also surviving him is his grandfather Rudy Ramirez Sr of San Jose, CA.

Elvis was raised by Sammy and Lori Rose Galvan whom he referred to as brother and sister.  Elvis was an uncle to eleven nieces and eight nephews whom he loved dearly they include Mattie Maldonado, Jazell, Knovah, Kassia Ramirez, Aaliyah Garcia Ramirez, Miranda, Paige Ramirez, Lauren McLane, Ruby Lohse, Rylee, Rubio, Bryson Sims, Jayden Juarez Ramirez, Hayden Lohse, Ruben Ramirez Jr., Unique, Harmony, Sebastian, Jacob Ramirez, Robert McLane.  Also involved in raising Elvis were his aunts, Dolores Saldana, Lori Ramirez, as well as Irma and Rudy Rojas, whom he loved and thought of as his second parents. Rudy Ramirez, Sr. his grandfather from San Jose, California also survives him.   Elvis leaves numerous aunts, uncles and cousins to mourn his passing. 

The family would like to thank the Lohse family, Rojas family and friends who helped bring Elvis home.

Viewing and visitation will commence Monday, September 25, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas.  Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 F.M. Hwy. 1223, San Angelo, Texas 76905, with a departure from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
