It is with unimaginable sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved son, Enemencio “Mitch” De La Rosa IV on September 25, 2025. in San Antonio, Texas. Enemencio “Mitch” was born on February 5, 1990, in San Angelo, Texas to Enemencio De La Rosa, III and Allison Flores. Enemencio grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and a deep passion for life.
Enemencio “Mitch’s humor, and kindness touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was gentle in his words, kind in his eyes and thoughtful in every way. He was a true die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan who never missed an opportunity to cheer for his team.
Enemencio is remembered by his parents, Enemencio De La Rosa, III and Allison Flores, his brothers, Thomas Lopez, Albert Flores, Max De La Rosa, and Wolfgang De La Rosa and his sister, Vanessa De La Rosa. He will be remembered fondly by his children, Olivia Rodriguez and Miguel Rodriguez. Enemencio will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
Friends will be received at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. led by Deacon Michael Kahlig. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with Msgr. Larry Droll, officiating at St. Peter’s Mission, 549 North Commerce Street, Mertzon, Texas. With committal following at Mertzon Cemetery, 1200 Co. Road 390, Mertzon, Texas.
