Felix Ruben Holguin was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to Pedro and Estella Holguin. He resided in San Angelo, Texas, until the Lord called his name home.
In his free time, he loved playing the guitar and listening to music. He also spent much of his life traveling as a truck driver, where he found happiness and peace on the open road. Truck driving became more than just a career — it was his passion. We know he’s now traveling those heavenly roads, chasing sunsets and wide-open skies.
He is survived by his mother, Estella Holguin; his sisters, Soyla Holguin and Vicky Holguin; and his brother, Pete Holguin, and wife, Diana. He is also survived by his daughter, Alisa Sepeda, and husband, Jackson; and her brother, Jonathan Paredes, whom he helped raise during their time together. He leaves behind his beloved grandson, Ace Sepeda, and his second grandchild on the way, Madden. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Rosa, who remained faithfully by his side until Jesus called him home.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews from his sister Soyla — Cameryn, Dominic, Ethan, Maisie, Isaac, and Nathanial — and their children, as well as his nieces and nephews from his sister Vicky — Olivia, Andrea, and Lionel — and their children. He is also survived by his niece Ashley, daughter of Pete and Diana, and her daughter Natalie. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he loved them all dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Holguin, and his son, Eric.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kind heart, laid-back spirit, and signature spiked-up hair. To know him was to know someone full of love, laughter, and care. Though he may be gone, his love will continue to live on through his family and all who were blessed to know him.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on October 25th at 4:00 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, located at 1002 N Oakes St, San Angelo, Texas 76903. All who knew him — whether closely or in passing — are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
