Ms. Frances Kay James, 69, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on December 25, 2021.
Frances was beloved by her family and friends. She was caring and had an infectious personality and sense of humor that everyone gravitated toward. Frances was a terrific wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. In addition to her family, she deeply loved her friends and caregivers who she thought of as family. She often referred to her caregivers as “my girls.”
A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North, 1002 North Oakes St., San Angelo, Texas with pastor Ralph Dawkins officiating. Frances will be cremated and inurned at Arlington National Cemetery where she will forever rest with the love of her life, Charles James Sr. Sergeant First Class, U.S. Army.
Survivors include Carolyn Lee-Lang (sister), Donald Lang (brother-in-law), Charles V. James Jr. (son), Seddrick J.James (son), Paula Fierro-James (daughter-in-law), Shayla May Lavizzo (granddaughter), Ethan Essary (grandson), Amaya James (granddaughter), Adrian James (grandson), Carlos James (grandson), Emilio James (grandson), and Khaliya Lavizzo (great-granddaughter).
Frances was predeceased in death by Charles V. James Sr., her husband, August 9, 2001; Rhama Louise Lee, her sister, May 20, 2020; and Felicia James, her daughter, January 1, 2007.
