Francisco Javier Zapata

Francisco Javier Zapata, 72 of San Angelo, Texas passed away peacefully Friday, March 14,2025.

Francisco is survived by his wife, Maria Elena, and his five children, son Frank Zapata, daughter Adelita Zavala and husband Mark, daughter Diana Zapata, daughter Angelica Guzman and husband Roel Jr, and son Fernando Zapata.  He is also survived by twelve grandchildren Frank Anthony, John Rey, Jose, Crystal, Stephanie, Roel III, April, Gina, Mark Jr, Anna, Ruben and David III; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Manuel, Joe, Rudy, Armando, sisters, Rosa, Sylvia and Lucy, and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, commencing at 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to be held at 1:00 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes Street, San Angelo, Texas.
