Francisco "Frank" Arredondo, age 82, of Grape Creek, Texas departed this life to abide with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 6, 2021, in the comfort of his home.
Francisco “Frank” Arredondo Sr. was born July 24,1939 in El Nacimento, Coahuila, Mexico to parents Mandy Washington and Manuel Arredondo.
Francisco was a very loving, caring, friendly & hardworking man. He was full of life and made friends everywhere. He always made sure that anyone who was close to him was well taken care of. Whether they needed food, a place to stay, or something fixed, he was there for you. He had a strong love for his family. He would walk into a room and light it up with his big smile . Even on days when he wasn’t feeling that well, he would be upbeat and positive. He lived a very good life, being a cowboy for 22 years at several ranches in Texas and in Mexico. This experience of ranching led to him raising his own livestock. Francisco loved tending his land, growing numerous plants and vegetables in his garden, which wouldn’t have been complete without his beloved peppers.
Francisco is survived by his wife Rosie Arredondo of San Angelo Texas, brother Juan Manuel Arredondo of San Angelo Texas, sister Betty Muñoz of San Angelo, Texas and brother Juan José Arredondo of Arizona. He also is survived by his children Francisco Arredondo, Jr (Jeannie) of San Angelo, Dina Rodriguez (Anthony) of Lubbock, and Avery Eugene Arredondo (Tanya) of San Angelo. His grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Eris, Neira, and Alyssa and step-grandchildren Dylan, Megan and Brittani will miss him dearly, as will numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Francisco’s light touched all their lives and will continue to shine on them from Heaven.
