Ishma Angel Parker Obituary

                      Little Ishma Parker

Little Ishma Parker enjoyed playing video games,

And making us laugh until we had stomach pains.

To catch him with a smile on his face was rare,

Because hunni… Little Ishma was too cool for that there.

So, we caught our wins wherever we could,

And we accepted his tough exterior as we should.

He would take toys apart at a very young age,

And put them back together… like turning a page.

As he got older the toys became somewhat large,

And we prayed all the time… that God be in charge.

This little boy began to drag home things with engines,

And we secretly prayed it be no more than a nest of pigeons.

But ohhh no Little Ishma Parker made that dirt bike run,

And off he went in the hot scorching sun.

After that broke down, we were happy as could be, we were happily humming,

Well low and behold he drag home a big old busted up, broke down, ugly motorcycle… wow, didn’t see that coming!!!

We secretly laughed, ain’t no way he’ll fix that big beat up, old piece of junk from out of space,

By no way were we being mean… we just wanted him safe.

Well after days of banging, tapping, knocking, and all that stuff,

Again, he got it going like it was built Ford tough.

OMG, we were all so happy when that too fell apart,

We could breathe, again it eased our hearts.

But many many months after that something larger came in to play,

It was the infamous red car Little Ishma Parker bought home one day.

We hadn’t seen the red car Little Ishma Parker spoke of everyday,

But he’d go check on it wherever it was… that car was his shine of ray.

He was determined to buy it and he did just that you guys,

And he loved, loved, loved that red car, it became the glimmer in his eye.

Very short lived as it apparently was,

His newly bought car became the buzz.

However, Little Ishma Parker was taken by the hand,

And led to a different path… where the streets are gold, as is the sand.

Oh God!!! Where am I, what have I done,

You’ve done nothing…. You’ve found your way home my son.

You see I allowed you to enjoy life there on earthly grounds,

Now you’re in My house where you can quiet the sounds.

So many voices and brain just working overtime,

Relax My son… for you were always mine.

No more aimless wondering, no more this, no more that,

Look, there’s a 67 beat up chevy…. Why don’t you restore it back?

Wow, yes… God can I really work on that car???

Of course, My Child… you’ve traveled this far.

Oh, but wait God I forgot to tell everybody bye,

My mom, dad, sister, and little brother who’s the apple of my eye.

Mom, Dad, please forgive me for making you worry and putting you through so much pain,

But I had no idea, what happened needed to happen… So, God could do his thang.

Which was to save me from a world of chaos and mind going 24/7,

The only way to do that was to get me here to Heaven.

J’Malachi, I’m sorry little brother that I scared you all the time,

And you can change the room around if you want to… I really don’t mind.

Up here my room is so big Malachi, I could drive a hummer up here,

Don’t be sad little brother… I’ll always be near.

Divine, Little Sis, I’m sorry things turned out this way,

But save those tears for some other day.

Only one can understand the beauty of my flight,

See ya’ll on the other side family… so long and goodnight.
