Joann Medina

Joann Medina, 37, of Dickinson, Texas, and formerly of San Angelo, passed away on March 26, 2021.  Viewing and visitation will be on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.  Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow as per her wishes. 

Joann is preceded in death by her father Gregorio E. Barajas, aunt Maria Ibarra, aunt Ninfa Fuentes, grandmother Felicitas Barajas, and grandmother Sacramento 
She is survived by her three boys Thomas, Gregory, and Zachary Garza all of San Angelo, granddaughter Anahi Sophia Garza of San Angelo. Mother Mary Avila and stepfather Juan Avila of San Angelo, sister Mary Ann Florentino of Warwick, RI,  brother Jesse L. Barajas of San Angelo; sisters Darlene, Betty, and Linda Lou, her fiancee  Armando Torres of Dickenson TX, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.  She attended Ft Concho Elementary and Edison Jr High School.
