Juaquin H. Villarreal (Kine), age 64, of San Angelo, TX, went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2023, after battling a long-terminal illness. He transitioned from his journey on earth to being with his Heavenly Father as family stood by his side. Joaquin was born on October 8, 1958, to Torivio and Petra Villarreal. Joaquin was known to be the life of the party and if you were around him, you were sure to be laughing. He was a painter by trade. He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. His last days were spent growing closer to the Lord and praying for others. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle and his charisma, wit, and charm will surely be missed.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Armando H. Villarreal; brother, Torivio Villarreal Jr.; sister, Juanita Perez; and his parents, Torivio & Petra Villarreal. He is survived by his son, Danny Garcia, of Austin, Tx. Sister Mary Ellen Soto, of San Angelo; sister, Teresa Villarreal, of San Angelo; brother, Willie Villarreal & wife Lucy; brother, Mario Villarreal, of San Angelo; brother, Richard Villarreal, of San Angelo; and little sister, Patsy and husband Paul Clapsaddle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Gutierrez Funeral Home North on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 7:00 pm. Service will be led by Evangelist/Pastor Joe Garcia.
The family would like to thank the staff at Park Plaza Nursing Facility for the care and friendship to our Brother and Tio Joaquin, and also thank Hospice of San Angelo for their care
