Jose "Joe" Govea meant more to his family than he ever understood.  Please join us as we remember his short but eccentric life. 

Jose Guadalupe Govea, 27, of San Angelo, passed away on May 19, 2023, in San Angelo, Texas.

Viewing and visitation will be on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes Street., San Angelo, Texas 76903 starting at 3:00 p.m. till 8:30 p.m.  He will be laid to rest in the Eola-Mereta Cemetery in Mereta, Texas at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, San Angelo, Texas 

Mr. Govea was born on May 29, 1995, in San Angelo, Texas.  Survivors include his brothers, Daniel Guerrero Jr. and wife Mara Guerrero, Ramon Govea III and wife Marisol Govea of North Richland Hills, Texas and his sister Maricela Hernandez and husband Billy of San Angelo, Texas.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 N Oakes St., San Angelo, Texas.
