Jose Rodriguez

With humble acceptance of God's will, we announce the passing of Jose Luis "Pepe" Rodriguez, age 47, on Thursday, November 23, 2023, in San Angelo, Texas.

Jose Luis was born to Reynold Rodriguez and Juanita Morales in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico on June 20, 1976, and lived in San Angelo, Texas for many years.  Jose Luis through his vulnerabilities gave us the gift of insight and showed us things we might otherwise have missed. He helped us to see the beautiful wonders of this world. 

Jose Luis will be forever remembered by his mother, Juanita Morales and fondly remembered by his brother, Johnny Rodriguez, Jose Carlos Rodriguez Moreno, Azael Rodriguez Moreno, and his sisters, Brenda Rodriguez and Rosa Rodriguez Arambula and in-laws Jorge Olivan and Juan Garza and Verenis Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Luis Morales and Carmen de Leon Morales and his brother Reynold Rodriguez Moreno and his aunt Narsie Rodriguez.

Other survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, Ashley Ramirez, Mario Moreno, Anthony Chappa, Matthew Chappa, Jacob Chappa, Tim Olivan, Julia Olivan, Mike Reyes, Andrea Arambula and Sophia and Samantha Rodriguez; great nieces and nephews, Maekayla Ramirez, Josiah Moreno, Jonah Jimenez, Arabella Chappa and Joshua Jimenez and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.

The family would also like to express their gratitude to the Shannon ER, Shannon Fourth floor nurses and staff and Dr. Ojeda, Hospice of San Angelo for all the wonderful care and attention given to Jose Luis.

Jose enjoyed his love for "cokes" and Little Caesars pizza and mostly loved playing with this "little cars".

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planed, the family will notify loved ones of any future services.

"You may be gone from my sight, but you are never gone from my heart."
