Louis Torres

Mr. Louis Torres, 68, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on September 22, 2020 in San Angelo.  He lived life on the edge -always pushing the limits.  He enjoyed racing cars on the streets or on the track with Dale Earnhardt Sr. being his favorite driver in NASCAR.  He never missed a race if Dale was racing. He was an amazing mechanic, plumber and "jack of all trades". He was never judgmental of any of his children’s choices.  He will be missed saying “What’s up kiddo?” and drinking coffee with him every morning and binge watching Netflix at night.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Anita Dietz and Louis Roque Torres, his brother Donnell Torres and sister Anna Maria Torres Martinez.

The family would like to thank Shannon Medical Center, especially his nurse Lori on 4 north.  She went above and beyond with the care she provided for Louis and always treated him with him with dignity during his battle with cancer. 

Survivors include his two sons William Louis Hill and Dale Earnhardt Torres, daughters, Tracie Morainne Torres, DeAnn Torres and Toni Dawn Torres Burlison.  Other survivors include his brother David Blake and sisters Betty Torres and Rosie Montano.

 A memorial will be held Friday October 2 at 6:00 pm at Calvary Catholic Cemetery 1501 W. Ave N San Angelo TX.
