Maria Hernandez

Maria DeJesus Constancio Hernandez, lovingly referred to as "Chita" was born on June 5, 1936 in Del Rio, Tx to Frederico and Natividad Constancio. She married Jessie Deanda Hernandez on January 15, 1956, in Menard, Tx.  Maria was devoted to her family and above all devoted to God. Her love for God and his word made her love for everyone around her extraordinary. Her prayers were heartfelt and pure. Her advice was straight-forward and her support was unconditional. She left a light in all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her three children, Gilbert Hernandez, Ernesto Hernandez and Rachel Hernandez Bannert and spouse Todd Bannert. Four grandchildren, Kelsey Corbin and spouse Casey Corbin, Hector Rios III and Ryann Rosas, Stormie Luna and Jessica Nicole De la Rosa. Eight great grandchildren, Knox, Eleanor, Echo, Ryker, Harper, Izaiah, Kayli and Eli. Her brothers Marcelo Constancio and Frederico Constancio, Jr. and her sisters Maria Helena Aguilar and Juliana Limon. She also leaves numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Jesse Constancio, Ruben Constancio and Carlos Constancio and her sister Olivia Faz.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, July 22, 2020, from 3:00 pm till 9:00 pm at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 N Oakes St., San Angelo, Texas.  A Service will be at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.  Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Menard, Texas under the care and direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels.
