Obituary
On the morning of Thursday, February 24, 2022, sweet and gentle Maria Martinez Padilla passed on to join her beloved husband, Juan Puente Padilla.
Maria was born on November 20, 1953, to her late parents, Martin Vasquez Martinez and Consuelo Acuna Gonzalez. She was a kind, thoughtful, generous, caring soul who believed that the only thing that actually and truly mattered was her love for her family and friends.
She is survived by her siblings; Cutberto Flores, Armando Martinez, Magdalena Pena and Eduardo Villanueva; her children; Elizabeth Richardson, Johnny Padilla and Rebecca Villapando; her grandchildren, Anthony Padilla, Sierra Martinez, Arielle Padilla, Tatiana Padilla, Hunter Martinez, Merilyn Richardson, Robyn Richardson, Ernest Villapando Jr., and Elena Villapando; as well as several beloved nephews, nieces and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 N Oakes, San Angelo, Texas. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
Services have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels.
