Obituary
Marilyn “GG” Louise (Ames) Kent born January 21, 1939 passed peacefully in her sleep on the morning of November 22nd, 2022. A strong, loving and open-hearted woman who seemingly lived two fantastic lives. An early life of travel, adventure and young love and a life in her twilight years where she became a loving and caring grandmother and great grandmother.
She joins her late husband Richard Lyman Kent and is survived by three siblings; Suzanne, Kenneth, Rick and families, eldest son Scott Kent wife Candina and her youngest Brian Kent. Grandchildren; Carrie Lynn Crenshaw and husband Jimmy Crenshaw (Peyton Crenshaw), Elizabeth Diane Kent (Addison and Oliver Ames Montana), Taylor Dawn Kent, Jeromy Thompson, Bowdy Thompson, Lacey Thompson, Bridgette Dial and family, Amanda McCloure and family, and Samantha Walton and family. The family would like to extend thanks to Shannon Medical Center and Hospice of San Angelo for the exceptional care during GG’s last days and short battle with cancer.
