Mark Rogers, 67, passed away on July 23, 2025. He was born May 14, 1958, and grew up to be the family rock star. Everyone knew Mark for his famous wall of knives, swords, and everything cool. He was also known for his impressive collection of rock music CDs.
Although Mark lived a hard life that tried to tear him down, he always kept, in his words, a smooth attitude about everything. He battled heart disease and liver cancer in his final years of life receiving many rounds of chemotherapy. He excelled in his career as a maintenance man and never let the hardships of life stop him from living. Mark was a sibling of 9 and was thick as thieves with his younger brother Matthew. In his later days, he slowly became a collector of items. Going to Mark’s house was like going to a museum because of all the rad things he had on display. He is a wonderful man that kept a positive spirit and rock-hard soul till the day he finally rested.
He is survived by his older brother Luke Rogers and, younger sister Julia Rogers whom he resided with in his final days. He is also survived by his sisters Mary and Tamye. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Matthew Rogers, Samye Havercroft, Sue Robison, and Brother John.
Mark will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his loyalty, his admirable free spirit, and his unconditional love for his family.
Cremation Services are under the care and direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes Street, San Angelo, Texas.
