Martha Elizabeth Koca

Martha Elizabeth (Beth) Koca, 66, went home to be with her Saviour while her husband was by her side on October 24, 2020 in San Angelo, Texas.  Beth was born on August 7, 1954 to Woodrow and Iverle Fountain in Hazelhurst, Mississippi.  She met her husband, Martin Koca, in Alamogordo, NM where they were married on August 11, 1972.  After moving to California, Beth and her husband welcomed six children into this world.  She was a loving mother and devoted wife. Her life purpose was to live a life that would honor the Lord and further His kingdom. Her faith goal was to raise Godly children who would willingly give their lives in the service to the King of Kings.  As a dedicated home educator, she helped establish the Christian Home Educators of Ridgecrest, CA.  Her walk with the Lord was evidenced through her faithfulness to serve in any way He led.  Being an outstanding cook, she enjoyed providing her family with fresh homemade meals and spending time with them.  She was an encourager and a faithful friend to countless many. Her sweet, bubbly spirit was apparent to anyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of showing God's love to many.  She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Martin Koca; her son Quintin and wife Sandy of Zebulon, NC; her son Benjamin and wife Paula of San Angelo, TX; her son Joseph and wife Star of Sanford, NC; her sons Kyle and Samuel of San Angelo, TX; her daughter Jewel of the family home; and eight grandchildren Jamie, Matthew, Claire, Camilla, Imric, Ellie, Felicity, and Adele; father, Woodrow Fountain of Alamogordo, NM brother John and wife Shirley of Las Cruces, NM brother Charles Fountain and wife Violet of Arizona and brother-in-law James Koca and wife Lisa of Livingston, TX.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Iverle Fountain.  Beth's heart was for missions, in lieu of flowers please donate to the Lotte Moon International Missions.  Viewing will be from 3-8 PM on October 28th, 2020 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapel 1002 North Oakes Street, San Angelo, TX.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on October 29, 2020 at Belmore Baptist Church, 1214 South Bell Street, San Angelo, TX.  Graveside service will be at Pioneer Memorial Park, in Grape Creek, TX at 2 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2020.  Arrangements are under the direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.
