Mary De Hoyos Obituary
Last week, Luisa DeHoyos joined her heavenly family and gained her wings. Luisa passed away on July 20, 2020 with her family at her bedside.
Luisa was born on March 22, 1923 to Feliciano and Fabiana De La Cruz in Hiesta, Texas.
She met no stranger, everyone was 'Mijo' or 'Mija' to Luisa. She loved playing her favorite game of Bingo.
She is predeceased in death by her husband, Trine DeHoyos, her daughter Irma DeHoyos and son Richard DeHoyos.
Survivors include her children; Delia Rios, Rosendo Guerra of Minnesota, Mary Lou Serrano and husband Albert, Sam DeHoyos and wife Jill, Trine DeHoyos of Dallas, Jesse Garcia and
wife Hope of Dallas, Mary Charles and husband David. Luisa is also survived by 25 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Meadow Creek Nursing Facility for all the care and love they gave their mother over the last 6 years. A special thanks to Jesse Martinez,
whom she considered her son and to Frances Mediano.
A private memorial service was held for her due to Covid19.
