Michael "Mike", Medina, 34, of San Angelo, was released from this life on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Michael was born November 14, 1986 in San Angelo, Texas, to Lisa Medina and Benardo Huerta.
Mike attended school in Winters, Texas and then relocated with family to Sterling City, where he finished high school. Mike later moved to San Angelo where he resided until his passing.
Michael is survived by his lovely daughters, Nevaeh and Gabrianah of San Angelo, his mother Lisa Medina and father Benardo Huerta both of San Angelo, Texas. Other survivors include his sisters, Crystal Medina of Winters and Emerald Medina of San Angelo, Texas and his brother and best friend, Joe Huerta; Mike is also survived by his grandfather, Andrew "Lelo" of Arizona and special nieces and nephews, Amethyst, Jeremiah and Onyx of San Angelo. He is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts and cousins whom he loved dearly.

Viewing will commence on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas from 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North, 1002 N Oakes, San Angelo, Texas with interment following in the Sterling City Cemetery in Sterling City, Texas under the care and direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.
Michael ever the "Cheesehead" fan celebrated the Packers 13 titles (nine NFL championships and four Super Bowl victories), which are more than any other team, and then there’s the legendary coach with the fabled quotes, Vince Lombardi, for whom the Super Bowl trophy is named.
