On April 5, 2026, the days shared with Nancy C. Lara, 69, of San Angelo, Texas— a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, became cherished memories.
Nancy was born to Rosendo and Elisa Lara of Ozona Texas on November 18, 1956. She graduated from Ozona High School in May 1975 and worked at various places as a cook and retired from Walmart as a Customer Service Manager (CSM) after 20 plus dedicated years.
Nancy will be remembered for her generous spirit, warm heart, and the joy she brought to those around her. She loved camping and found peace in the outdoors, and she embraced life with energy, especially when there was an opportunity to dance.
Known for her selflessness, she was always ready to lend a hand and offer support. Her love for her grandchildren was immeasurable, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Among her many acts of kindness, she was especially known by her coworkers for her thoughtfulness, often preparing meals and celebrating others on their birthdays, making each person feel seen and appreciated.
The Lara family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, April 11, 2026, starting at 11:30 a.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels / North.
