Our beloved father and grandfather Nieves "Snow" Hernandez, passed from this life and entered into the presence of his Lord at the age of 94 on Sunday, September 24, 2023, in San Angelo, Texas. "Snow" as he was fondly called by many, was born in Ft. McKavitt, Texas on September 21, 1929, to Tiofila Deanda Hernandes and Pedro Hernandez.
"Snow" was a longtime ranch hand and cowboy. He never met a stranger, and he relished being outdoor, fishing, hunting and anyone who joined him at the deep camp was always in for a good time as he shared his knowledge of wildlife and their behavior patterns. He loved repairing anything that was broken, and a cold beer was always a treat! Snow could still be seen mowing his lawn at the age of 93 as well as the lawn of his neighbor.
Snow will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Barbara Martinez, Rebecca Callan, and his sons, James Hernandez and Philip Hernandez. He will be fondly remembered by his sister, Brigida Ortiz.
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.
Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a Light unto my path (Psalm 119.105)
