Rebecca Ludwig

Rebecca "Nanny" Ludwig, 68, of Winters, Texas, was released from this life and entered into eternal peace on Friday, June 9, 2023, in San Angelo, Texas.   Rebecca was born to Norbert William Ludwig and Shirley Ann Brewer Ludwig in Midland, Texas on October 19, 1954.

Rebecca worked in the health care industry for many years in both Winters, Texas and Ballinger, Texas. During her many years of service to the elderly, Rebecca built trust with and formed meaningful relationships with her "oldies but goodies".

She thoroughly enjoyed feeding any bird that came to her yard as it was a very peaceful experience and she enjoyed the colorful beauty and sounds that birds brought to her home,  her favorites were the red bird, a symbol of hope and joy as well as the blue bird, who are busy little birds, flitting around taking care of whatever needs to be done, and bluebirds are associated with a positive attitude and outlook on life, an attitude and outlook that Rebecca maintained throughout her life.

Rebecca will be forever loved and forever remembered by her children, sons Bryan Collins and Christopher Collins, her daughters, Lynn Tharp married to Terry Tharp, Carrie Collins, Anna Collins, Beth Collins, McKenzie McWhorta, and Raven Collins, married to Abraham Gomez.  Rebecca's beloved grandchildren will cherish their "Nanny's" memories.
