Richard Guillen Rodriguez

Richard Rodriguez, 74, of San Angelo, Texas, was released from this life on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in San Angelo, Texas.  Richard was born in San Angelo, Texas on June 2, 1949, to Paz Rodriguez and Maria de Jesus Guillen Rodriguez.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Gloria and his brothers, Carlos and Eddie Rodriguez.

Richard will be remembered by his sister, Yolanda Rodriguez and his son, Ricardo Paz Rodriguez and his daughter, Melissa Morales.  He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Rick, Ian, Damian, and Eduardo Rodriguez. Brittany Taylor, Hector Zamarron, Gabriel Molina and Vanessa Rocha as well as his great-grandchildren, Iliana Zamarron, Marcela, Ariela, Axton Richard Rodriguez, and Gary Lara III.  Richard will also be remembered by his nephews Ray and Roy Valdez, Carlos and Sonia Rodriguez, Jay Jordan, and Kimberly Ramirez.

Richard owned and operated Rodriguez Detail for many years.  He was a member of Northside Church of Christ.  His passion in life were his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Richard could be seen driving around town in his 1955 "Big Red" truck, he also loved his "novelas". 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas 76903. Graveside services will be on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM Hwy 1223, San Angelo, Texas, presided by Mike Zuniga. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas.
