Roberto “Bobby” Aguirre was a caring partner, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He left this world suddenly on October 25, 2022 at the age of 65.
Bobby was born on January 21, 1957, in Stanton, Texas. He was the son of Jose and Julia Aguirre. He attended school in Carrizo Springs, Texas. After completing school he worked on numerous ranches along side his father. He began his own career in Chicago, Illinois for a short time before moving to Christoval, Texas. In Christoval he worked for the Golden Years Nursing Home, Kykendall Landscaping, and Ethicon as a maintenance worker. His long and hard working years ended in his retirement at Williams Welding as a roustabout hand to stay home and spent his remaining time enjoying his many hobbies.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Julia Aguirre; sisters Lupe Villanueva, Alicia San Miguel, and Josie Villa; and brothers Lalo, Gilbert, Jose Jr., Johnny, and Ricky Aguirre.
Survivors include his long life partner Maggie Riojas; his children, Robert Obregon(Brianna) of Dilley, Texas; grandchildren, Jackie Cano, Desirae Gonzalez, Thalyla, LaDanien, and Ulyanna Obregon; and Great grandson D’Mari Cano.
Survived by extended family John Riojas of Devin; Rachel Franklin(Sonny) of San Angelo; Rosalinda Riojas(David) of San Angelo; Joe Riojas(Shanna) of Christoval; and Marcus Riojas(Jessica) of Seminole, Texas.
Survived by extended grandkids; Scottie Mataska; Jennyfer, Brandyn, Haley, James, and Joshua Riojas; Dalton and Alexia Franklin; Michelle and Jacob Williams; and Mackenzy Baker.
Survived by extended great grandchildren Weston and Bella Baker; Kayson, Gavin and Boston Franklin; Noah Williams; Graham, Caleb and Baker Mataska.
He is also survived by his sisters; Julia Martinez, Evelyn Bolin, and Janie Castaneda; brother Leo. He also had many nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a caring, loving and comical person. He loved to fish, draw and paint in his younger years. He loved to listen to all kinds music and would enjoying dancing to every opportunity he had. He was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, even though they did not always win, he would say that’s my team. After retirement he had a lot of time on his hands and he would enjoy putting puzzle boards together.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on October 28, 2022 at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels 1002 N Oakes St, San Angelo, Tx 76903.
