Rodolfo Mercado

     Our Little Angel, who will always be a precious gift and memory.  

It saddens us to announce the untimely passing of our beloved son, "Baby Rudy" on June 9, 2022. Rodolfo Mercado, IV also known as "Baby Rudy" was welcomed with love on August 31, 2018, by his parents, Jasmin Gonzalez, and Rodolfo Mercado, III, in San Angelo, Texas. 

“Baby Rudy” was full of life and joy. He was the happiest when he was outside playing with his sisters and cousins. He was always ready to go work with his daddy and show off his muscles. He was tiny and fearless with a smile and dimples that nobody could stay mad at. He was so excited to start school this coming year. He was always Mami’s “desmadre” and only baby boy.

"Baby Rudy" leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his parents, Jasmin Gonzalez, and Rodolfo Mercado III; three sisters, Vanessa, Maricela, and Isabella; He will be forever remembered by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Mariscal; maternal grandfather Jose Martinez; paternal grandmother, Bertha Mercado; paternal grandfather Rodolfo Mercado Jr; multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal uncle Jose S. Mariscal; paternal uncle Estevan Mercado; and paternal great grandfathers, Rodolfo Mercado, and Jose M. Martinez.

We are shattered by "Baby Rudy's" passing and would find immense comfort in your attendance on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas, 76903, with a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Deacon Jesse Martinez, officiating.  Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 150l West Ave. "N", San Angelo, Texas 76903.
