Rosalinda Saavedra Ramirez peacefully passed away in her home on Saturday, October 24, 2020. Rosalinda was born on December 17, 1935 to proud parents, Perfecto and Trinidad Saavedra in Del Rio, Texas. She grew up in Acuna, Coah., Mexico where she married our father, Francisco G. Ramirez, their union was blessed with three children. Our mother was a loving and caring woman who always put her children’s needs above her own. Rosalinda was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family and neighbors. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. Our mother enjoyed writing songs and singing religious songs. She loved attending church when she was able to attend and fond of reading the Bible. Rosalinda is survived by her daughters: Norma Garcia, Hilda McIntosh and Rosa Ramirez. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Antonio Michael Garcia, Victor McIntosh, Yvonne Garcia, Jonathan Garcia and Sterling McIntosh. Also surviving Rosalinda is her sister O’Tila Estrada and numerous beloved family members. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Francisco G. Ramirez, her parents, and sisters, Diamantina Briones and Armandina Saavedra and brothers Patrocinio Saavedra and Simon Saavedra.
A Vigil (Wake) Service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels North, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas,
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 26, 2020, 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 301 West 17th Street, San Angelo, Texas, with Rev. Juan Lopez Cortes presiding.
