Rose Silva

On the evening of May 8th, 2024, Rose “Rosie” Linda Garcia Silva went peacefully to rest with the Lord. Rose was born on August 14, 1966, in San Angelo, TX. She graduated from Lake View High School in 1984. While living in San Angelo, she worked at Hirschfeld Steel for many years as well at Baptist Memorial Center and Cato Fashions. Rose loved listening to music, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Her love for her two granddaughters was unlike any other she ever had and would do anything for them. Also, she cared very much for her cats who she enjoyed spoiling.

Rose is preceded in death by her father Ernest Garcia, her mother Concepcion Monroy Garcia, and her sister Maria Ernestine Garcia Torres. She is survived by her children Sandra Ann Aguilar (husband Angel), Ernest Ray Garcia, Joe Gabriel Silva (wife Holly); her granddaughters Ariana Renah Aguilar and Raelyn Garcia; her grandniece Nyla Jasmine Torres, and her great grandson Jonathan Alexander Garcia-Sanchez.

As per Rose’s last wishes, there will be no viewing or service as her children will follow through with her request. A special thank you to St. Gabriel’s Hospice and their nurses Debbie and Stephanie; San Angelo Nursing and Rehab; her dear friends Lisa Marrs, Christine and Monica Flores.

Rose’s wonderful spirit and determination were great inspirations for family and allowed us to see a glimpse of the blessed life she lived. Rest in paradise mom, no more hurt and no more pain, we love and miss you.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels.
