Rosita Guerette Obituary

Rosita Olivia Aguirre Guerette was born on January 1, 1949, in San Angelo, Texas to Adolph and Aurora Aguirre and returned to her heavenly father on Monday January 17, 2022.  She was surrounded by prayer, love and her family.

Rosita was known for her dimple as she smiled, her contagious laugh, and as one would say she looked like “A Spanish Elizabeth Taylor”.  She was a humble, giving person who enjoyed trips to the casino, a glass of wine with her novelas, and sitting around a barbeque as her grandchildren would play outside.  If you ever needed anything, she would give you the last dollar in her purse, a meal, or anything to assist.  She has helped house many friends and or family members in a time of need.  For work, she retired from supervising housekeeping at the Goodfellow Air Force Base and enjoyed supplementing her income for many years in home health care.

Rosita was proceeded in death by her parents Adolph and Aurora Aguirre, husband Larry Lee Guerette, daughter Janie Marie Mata, sisters Amanda Salazar and Dora Montez, and brother Jose Aguirre.

Rosita leaves to cherish her memory two surviving sisters: Hilda Hernandez of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Isabel Salazar and husband Antonio Salazar of San Angelo, Texas, her children Manuel Mata of San Angelo, Texas, Callie Balderas and husband Jorge Balderas of Rockwall, Texas, Calvin Guerette of San Angelo, Texas, Shantel Guerette of Cooksville, Texas, and Cody Guerette of San Angelo, Texas, her grandchildren: Anjelica Guerette, Joseph Guerette, Brandon Balderas, Alyssa Balderas, Andrew Guerette, Serenity Bautista, Arabella Bautista, Jonothan Luera, Krista Luera, Malorie Guerette, Melanie Guerette, Leah Guerette, her great grandchildren: Anthony Baca, Aliyah Sanchez, Jonothan Luera, Jr., Ezekiel Luera, Cecelia Cano as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A special thank you to Hospice of San Angelo and honorary gratitude to Shari Davis and Alyssia Rosales.  Family and friends may share condolences and sign the online register at: www.gutierrezfuneralchapels.com

You are restored in health, beauty and in all his glory! 1 Peter 5:10
