On May 23, 2025, after a year and a half long battle with cancer, Roxanne L. Del Rio embarked on her journey to be welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord.
Roxanne was born on June 13, 1978, to Ricardo Z and Angie L Del Rio, in San Antonio, Texas, where she lived for many years before returning home to San Angelo. Roxanne’s unwavering and positive spirit made her deeply loved and cherished by her family as well as members of the community.
Roxanne and her legacy lives on in the memories of her daughter, Jade, her sons, Nicolas, Joshua and Noah, as well as her loving siblings, Rosa Maria Martiarena, Ricardo Del Rio, Jr., and wife Margaret, Robert Del Rio and wife Pam and Johnny Del Rio and Sabra. Other survivors other than her immediate family, include Roxanne’s dear aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces both in San Antonio and San Angelo who continue to honor her.
The Del Rio family would like to extend their sincerest “Thank you” to all who provided critical care and support to Roxanne throughout her journey, including Dr. Hall and Pamela from the Cancer Center, Dr. Meenavalli, as well as staff members of the Concho Hearts Hospice for all the love, care and respect shown towards her and her family. This is a blessing that will be forever cherished.
