Sammy Salvador Limon

With profound and overwhelming sadness, the family of Sammy Salvador Limon, announce the passing of their beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew on Thursday, September 26, 2024, in San Angelo, Texas.   Sammy Salvador Limon was born on June 9, 2002, in San Angelo, Texas, to Sammy and Dulce Limon. He graduated from Big Spring High School and attended WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming, and graduated as a diesel mechanic. He later obtained a job at H+P drilling as a diesel mechanic.

Sammy loved hunting, fishing, and sports, especially his Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed being outdoors tossing a football with his cousins and casting a line. Sammy enjoyed when his grandmothers would make his chili beans and rice. One of his favorite things to do was spending time with his sisters by hunting, playing video games and wrestling.

 Sammy had a remarkable ability of playfully teasing everyone that never failed to leave a smile on your face. He was like a bottomless pit with his appetite as he enjoyed more than his fair share of sweets.

He is preceded in death by guelo Luis Muro. Sammy leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his parents Sammy and Dulce Limon, sisters Karina and Nadia Limon of San Angelo. Grandparents Salvador and Silvia Muro, Fausto Antonio and Rose Marie Limon. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Salvador and wife Claudia Muro, Iran Muro, Aranelly Muro, Fausto Antonio Jr. and wife Sarah Limon, Rudy and wife Clara Hernandez, Paul and wife Monica Rodriguez. Sammy is also survived by many beloved cousins.

 Pallbearers for the service will be Alfredo Hurtado, Armando Muro, Mark Hernandez, Andrew Rodriguez, Fausto III Limon, and Miguel Limon. A memorial will be held Sunday September 29, 2024, from 6:00 to -8:00 p.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas.  A Funeral Service will be held Monday September 30, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas with interment to follow at Belvedere Memorial Park, 3504 Arden Road, San Angelo, Texas.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the amazing team at Hospice of San Angelo.  The nurses and staff with their kindness, compassion, and dedication to Sammy’s comfort and care will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for being a shining light during our darkest times.  We are forever grateful to Dr. Cheruku, Dr. Kingsman and their staff for the care, love and support you provided during this challenging time.

         Sammy’s fighting spirit, fierce love, and tender concern for those around him will be dearly missed.
