Silvestre Perez

With sadness and love, the family of Mr. Silvestre Perez, beloved father, grandfather, age 72, of Iraan, Texas, announce his passing on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in San Angelo, Texas.

Mr. Perez was born to Andres Perez-Rodriguez and Julia Hernandez Perez in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico on December 31, 1951.  He quickly utilized his skills operating multiple types of equipment as well as his excellent work ethic to obtain a position in the oil field industry.  Mr. Perez helped production workers by mentoring and guiding them through their workday always aware of the company safety standards, so their work site remained accident-free.

Silvestre lived a life, filled with happiness and kindness, he will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.  He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Manuel Andres Perez, wife, Alma R. Perez, Esteban Perez, wife, Dora A. Perez, and Silvester Perez. Silvestre leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his grandchildren, Valentino Valle-Perez, Valerio Valle-Perez, Alyan M. Perez, Beila A. Perez, Emily Perez, Mayra E. Perez, Lorena Perez, Yakelin Perez, Yoleesa Perez

Friends and family are invited and may call at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Interment will follow on Sunday, March 24, 2024, in San Carlos, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
